This is a replication of "Still Standing" an original art piece painted by Heather Rakas

The original art piece was sketched in doubt, yet painted in hope in February 2024.

The concept for this piece came to me while sitting at my desk at work, feeling like everyone was against me, a feeling that often comes with being in a managerial position. I originally sketched it with the words ‘hate me’ and ‘hate me not’ on each petal, but when I painted it in a completely different environment, it took on an entirely new energy.

This piece was painted live at an art show, in my element, where I truly belonged. It became a testament to hope: even after all I’ve been through, I’m still standing, and brighter than before, ready for my dreams to come true. A reminder that even without all our petals, we can still shine.

This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
