The original art piece was created with colored pencils on paper in 2017, an oldie but a goodie!

This art piece was created during one of the toughest periods of my life, and it reminded me of my resilience, and my ability to rise again and again. It reignited my love for art after ten years spent chasing love instead of my own dreams.

The phoenix is a symbol that I hold close to my heart. It was the first card I designed in my tarot deck, representing DEATH. After surviving a car crash in July 2023 (without a seatbelt) where the car flipped over and I was able to walk away with no major injuries beyond airbag burns. I chose to have this image tattooed to cover those scars. That moment made me realize I was protected, and it was time to take my dreams seriously. No more chasing the approval of others. I went all in on myself and my love for art, closing one chapter and beginning anew.
